Ingersoll Rand is a multi-national corporation operating in diverse sectors on the global marketplace.  These include cooling, security systems, industrial production, infrastructure development and Club car.  Worldwide, the firm encompasses 120 plants and provides work to more than 55,000 people.  Overall, in its 23 production plants around the world, the cooling sector employs more than 12,000 people and at the same time makes use of a broad network of around 900 authorized dealers.  This sector is represented in the Czech Republic by production plants in Kolín, Uničov and the Research and Development Center in Hostivice.  The good geographic location in Central Europe, the background of the European Union, and a selection of qualified, top-level professionals makes the Czech Republic attractive for production research and development.
